Mentoring farmers in regenerative agriculture practices

Our latest Regenerative Agriculture Mentorship Program (RAMP) has officially launched!

We had a hugely successful three-month pilot program earlier in the year and our first full-length 12-month program launched in July.

Now we are delighted to share we also have a six-month mentoring program running with eight regions in Northern NSW and Southern Queensland.

As with all our programs, mentee participants get to enjoy 90-minute sessions with their expert mentors every fortnight, a series of special guest lecture presentations and on-farm field days.

Combined with high-quality, education-based resources, we are working with farmers to make the transformational change from conventional to regenerative agricultural principles and practices.

We recently launched our latest program where all our mentors and mentees came together online to introduce our successful applicants to their amazing mentors. We can’t wait to see what our mentees learn and implement on their properties!

Director of the Regenerative Agriculture Alliance, Lorraine Gordon, spoke to the group on launch day, saying: “You will never stop learning. As farmers, we must continually ask ‘why?’ and ‘what can we do better?’ and ‘how can we collaborate?’.

“It is so much easier to walk this journey with others.”

The subsidised delivery of RAMP has been possible through the Australian Government’s Agricultural Innovation Hubs Program. The SQNNSW Innovation Hub receives funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
