In 2019, the Federal Government provided funding to the Farming Together Program to continue working with farmers, fishers and foresters by creating a suite of purposefully designed resources such as case studies, webinars, podcasts, co-op maker and more, all housed in a resource library on a purpose-designed website.

About Summary

The Starting Farm Co-operatives Program, known as Farming Together, helps farmers, fishers and foresters establish collaborative business models and co-ops that address economic and environmental challenges. In 2019, the Australian Government, through the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, funded Southern Cross University to continue the work of the Farming Together Program, helping farmers, fishers and foresters to boost farm gate returns through collaboration.
