Welcome to our farm. Situated on 25-acres on the majestic Macleay River near Kempsey NSW, we have been farming here for 13 years operating as a commercial organic horticultural farm. We have an irrigation license and live on a tarmac road 12kms from town.
We have reached a point in our lives where we no longer want to grow anything commercially but would love the opportunity to share what we have set up on this farm with others who share our passion for giving back to the land.
For the right couple/person, we are offering:
- a self- contained cottage,
- access to farming equipment including a tractor,
- farmland for growing crop/vegetables and other opportunities in farming by negotiation,
- Wi-fi, and
- electricity.
In exchange, we would require 3 days’ work a week to grow and operate the vegetable garden and orchards including assisting with general weeding around the farm. We also own another 100 acres next door where we agist cattle and we are open to negotiate how this land is farmed.
I would love to find a couple/person who dreams of having their own farm one day and in the meantime would like to start farming with us – there is a huge potential on offer for sharing our land. We require a one-year minimum commitment from anyone who is interested.
