Key Points

In 2020, on National Agriculture Day in Australia, Farming Together’s partner organisation the Regenerative Agriculture Alliance launched the Parliamentary Friends of Regenerative Agriculture Group.

The inaugural meeting brought together leading regenerative agriculture practitioners including Bruce Pascoe, Lorraine Gordon, Col Seis and Tony Hill with representatives from all political persuasions including MP Kevin Hogan and MP Helen Haines to share their vision and discuss priorities. The meeting was successfully chaired by Southern Cross University’s Vice President (engagement) Ben Roche and marks a poignant step in Australia’s agricultural history.

About Summary

As face-to-face opportunities are increasing, the Parliamentary Friends of Regenerative Agriculture Group is looking forward to having it’s second meeting at Parliament House in Canberra. Stay tuned for more details about the exciting work of this important collaboration.
