Project Description: The Working Collaboratively for Better Profits from Beef project discovered that mainstream beef producers should examine their businesses at a greater depth to really understand how those businesses are really performing, that those producers (who have never before undertaking such an exercise) can complete that process after some assistance in getting started, that participating in a discussion group offers an opportunity to gain a better understanding of information through discussion with like-minded fellow producers, and that understanding key drivers of profit is a great platform to develop plans for improvement from.
