Project Description: The Farmer Exchange Network is committed to creating an environment to bring farmer’s together to foster farmer-to-farmer collaboration and learning online, in real-time and in a meaningful way. Their platform can exponentially grow your farming network so you can get answers to questions you have as well as share your tacit experience and knowledge with others seeking it. The mental health and social wellbeing benefits associated with rural and remote farmers having the ability to interact and share stories with other farmers, the creation of a healthy dialogue that can be had when a farmer has 'had a bad day', lessening the individual burden of some of the challenges faced by farmers. The network provides a great opportunity for new farmers to the Industry to create a trusted network of advisors to help increase their knowledge, education and experiences as they take on their new farming ventures.
