Project Description: The Abalone Council of Australia undertook a feasibility study to identify trends in the Asian market that the Australian Wild Abalone Industry could capitalise on to build a domestic market for their product. This involved surveys with visitors from Asia in a number of capital cities in Australia along with consumers in China. The study also involved supply chain partners to better understand the barriers and opportunities for developing a domestic market for Australian wild abalone.
