New podcast: How are farmers reducing emissions?

A new podcast series showcasing practical, farmer-led approaches to reducing on-farm emissions is coming soon.

The six episodes will feature farmers and researchers who share their experiences, lessons and ideas on the journey to decarbonisation.

But it’s not always easy. Podcast host, farmer and extension officer Pippa Jones (also a Nuffield scholar) asks farmers: What has been challenging? What worked? What would you do differently next time? Who helped you?

The series has been funded by the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub’s Land & Primary Industries Network as part of its focus on supporting practical research, innovation and knowledge sharing to accelerate the transition to low-emissions agriculture.

Launching in July 2026, the series explores the real-world opportunities and challenges of reducing emissions while improving productivity, resilience and long-term farm viability.
