We are Robert and Anne Ashbolt from Ashbolt Farm near New Norfolk in the stunning Derwent Valley, Tasmania, a 40-minute drive from Hobart. We have been caring for this farm since 1980 and have a high-value, low-impact, sustainable approach to farm practices.
We are seeking an experienced, skilled, committed and dedicated worker who shares our vision of a sustainable farming future to share our farm.
Ideally, we would like someone who is knowledgeable and willing to take on one of the following roles:
- a brewer
- a sales-focused growth creator, and
- a grove operator and/or farm operator
If you are experienced and suitable for one of these roles, there is considerable opportunity to make your mark and have real input in the day-to-day operations and planning. In addition, there is potential to take on more responsibilities over time.
The solid foundations of our business have been established, with two decades of committed and consistent work to achieve a thriving elder grove, sustainable olive grove, fruit orchard and brewery.
As we approach our retirement, we are looking for an energetic person to work with us – someone who understands the realities of rural life and whose priorities lie with giving back to the land and not just short-term financial gain.
