Apply this October for the Regenerative Agriculture Mentorship Program (RAMP)

Mrs Simone Blom
BEd(Hons)(SCU), BSc(MELB), BTeach(DEAKIN)
Project Manager (RAMP)

RAMP aims to facilitate and support farmers to make the transformational change from conventional to regenerative agricultural principles and practices. The goal is to reduce the impacts of climate change using environmental education projects that drive agricultural practice change for improved soil carbon, hydration, biodiversity, sustainability and profitability.

Delivered by Southern Cross University’s Regenerative Agriculture Alliance and Farming Together, successful farmer applicants across Northern NSW and Southern QLD will work with local regenerative agriculture mentor experts to develop their own knowledge, capacity and application of the principles and practices of regenerative agriculture.

The program will run over 6-months and consist of fortnightly 1.5-hour online meetings between the mentor and the mentee group (approximately six mentees per group). Additionally, there will be 2 – 3 two-hour guest speaker presentations and face-to-face on-farm field days. The RAMP group-mentoring program is unique as it is education-based and all participants will receive resources to support their learning journey.

With the tremendous support of the Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales (SQNNSW) Innovation Hub through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), we are able to offer you the heavily subsidised fee of only $350 for the 6-month program. Applicants must be 18 years and over, Australian citizens, and be registered primary producers.

We look forward to working with you on this exciting program!

**EXTENDED DATE** Closing date for applications: Monday 31st October 2022.
